They must present the P.I.R. (Property Irregularity Report) form and the original copy of the compensation receipt from the airline.

 

The validity period refers to the timeframe during which the benefits indicated on the voucher may be used. This runs from 00:00 hours on the departure date from the country of permanent residence until 23:59 hours on the return date indicated on the voucher. A condition for validity is that the voucher must be fully paid and confirmed at the start of coverage.

 

The death, accident, or serious illness of the beneficiary or a first-degree relative (spouse, siblings, children, or parents); being called as a witness or juror by a court; damage caused by fire, theft, or natural disasters; or a mandatory medical quarantine resulting from an accidental trip.

 

It applies if the beneficiary’s flight is delayed by more than 6 consecutive hours beyond the originally scheduled time and when no alternative transportation is available. Reimbursement will be provided up to the coverage limit for hotel, meals, and communication expenses.

 

The assistance covers expenses related to the civil or criminal defense of the beneficiary in case they are held liable for a traffic accident.

 

When deemed necessary by the Assistance Center physician, considering the illness or accident that occurred abroad.
